To this day, I still remember when Trump was elected in his first term. I can still see in my mind Nancy Pelosi and the crazy Maxine Waters during interviews saying, “Resist Trump”. It wasn’t a major issue until you look at the consequences. Since the day Trump took office, he has fought Judges across the country, acting as if they are running the country, not protecting Americans from abuses of our systems. This is judicial lawfare, and we have many progressive Judges willing to abuse the system for an ideology, not law.
We need to take our country back and review Federal Judges and the power they abuse during their term because we are watching abuses over and over again. All to slow down or stop Trump’s agenda. This is wrong, and SCOTUS Roberts needs to do something, but he stays silent. I worry about our legal system. All IMO.
“Under the older system, students were allowed to stay for the duration it took to complete their program.
DHS said the crush of foreign students — some 1.8 million were admitted in 2024 — has meant the department can’t track them all to make sure they are still here studying. DHS said the change would give it more opportunities to check students and make sure they still deserve their visas.
The department said more than 2,000 foreigners who came to the U.S. between 2000 and 2010 were still here on student visas. Also, some 77,000 foreigners have spent more than 10 years on student visas. DHS called them “forever students” who were gaming the system.
Judge Saylor disagreed, saying many education programs, such as doctoral degrees and postdoctoral training, can take that long.
DHS derided the judge’s decision.
“Come on a student visa, take one class per semester, and stay here for decades. According to Judge Dennis Saylor, ICE must permit this rampant abuse of our immigration system,” said General Counsel James Percival.”
