I think Graham Platner is done; well done, and this is the straw that will break the camel’s back. I want to see who continues to stand up and promote a rapist, nazi supporter, and rich kid. The lies and comments from the Democrats in support of Platner are a sign of desperation for power.
When power becomes number one, the people lose out because they are always second to the socialists or communists leading the way. For the first time, I am seeing a break towards common sense as people are waking up to the insanity coming from the extremists. Now we need to let this snowball grow as we roll into the midterms. All IMO.
“Democrat Graham Platner said Monday he is weighing the “best path forward” for his reeling Senate campaign in Maine after a woman who dated him said he sexually assaulted her.
By Monday evening, multiple senior Democratic lawmakers had called on him to drop out and the party’s Senate-campaign arm said it would not support him if he stayed on.
Jenny Racicot, a 41‑year‑old Maine resident, detailed the alleged incident to Politico and provided emails with her therapist as well as messages with an acquaintance who warned her years ago against getting involved with Mr. Platner.
Ms. Racicot said she dated Mr. Platner off and on for more than two years. She said he entered her home drunk and uninvited in late 2021 and forced himself on her. She pleaded for him to stop.
“I remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me,” she said. “I remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, ‘This is no longer my choice.’”
Mr. Platner denied the allegations.
He said he is considering “the best path forward” for his campaign.
“I wanted to directly address your troubling, serious, and false allegations against me,” Mr. Platner said in a social media video. “Any accusation of nonconsensual behavior is categorically false.”
