I’m sick and tired of no cohesion within this party, and I’m not saying they have to cave to everything Trump, but they need to support his efforts to help the GOP stay in power. Running from common sense is sending the wrong message.
Why is that so difficult given the current situation? There is so much to run on, but some GOP members run from common sense. While the Democrats have a dictatorship and the GOP doesn’t, we still need to join together when it counts. John Thune is a big disappointment and could destroy the GOP because he won’t get rid of the rules that limit the passage of the SAVE ACT. Thune is stupid if he thinks the left will abide by a handshake rule. He is wrong on this issue and could cost our nation.
We are at a critical point and need all hands on deck, but the GOP never seems to fight the battles as a team, but as a disjointed group of old men. We need change, starting with term limits as well as age limits or at least a cognitive test. All IMO.

“President Trump, who is already slated to speak on the first night of the Republican National Committee’s inaugural midterm convention in Dallas, will also close out the event’s second night, The Hill’s broadcast partner NewsNation confirmed Sunday.
Trump is set to give the first night’s keynote address and then give closing remarks the following evening. Vice President Vance will deliver the second night’s keynote speech.
The president previously said in August that he will be there both nights “and rarin’ to go.”
The event, described by RNC Chairman Joe Gruters as a “Trump-a-palooza,” lists more than 100 items on its programming list — including a showcase of candidates competing in key swing districts, as well as sessions on banning lawmakers from trading stock, federal immigration enforcement and breaking down differences between Republican and Democratic agendas.
The event will also feature speeches from Attorney General Todd Blanche, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Prominent Republicans including Senate candidate and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, House Speaker Mike Johnson (La.) and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (Wyo.) will also be in attendance.
Other lawmakers, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) and Sens. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) will not attend, with the latter two opting to stay on the campaign trail in their respective states, Newsweek reported.”
