This is right on track for Trump, who is telling Xi that if he opens up to U.S. businesses, both countries will benefit. That is the key, because China is forced to do things it normally wouldn’t do due to economic pressures, such as buying oil and soybeans.
We are now an oil exporter, so I hope to hear something about China buying from us. Think about that if it happens. This meeting could become major for Trump, or it could turn into a flop or non-event, but my bet is that both countries come out as winners. Of course, Iran could be a sticking point. All IMO.
