If this goes as planned, the GOP will have standing advertisements showing how “stupid” the progressives are. No nation in the world lets people vote without an ID, but our smart Democrats are willing to fall on their swords to allow fraud. The old Jim Crow days are gone, but not according to the left.
Why would the left take this Custer’s last stand approach? It is simple; they can’t win many elections without fraud. How many in the public will believe the lies and BS if this gets to the floor for debate? All IMO.

The core of the bill is a requirement for voter ID in elections. A version of the bill, which President Donald Trump has put at the top of his legislative agenda, has already passed the House. Senate passage is sticky, because although Republicans have a 53-47 majority, the bill needs 60 votes to pass.
That would require Democrats, who staunchly oppose voter ID requirements, to join Republicans in such numbers that the bill could pass even with potential Republican defections.”
