I’m really getting tired of the same old excuse for everything black being racist. The evidence was presented and overwhelmingly showed that the stabbing and killing of another occurred and is a crime, no matter the color of your skin.
What the hell do the protesters want? Justice? Yep, but for the past, not for our current world. When will we stop using racism as a weapon and begin talking about being a people? I don’t have that answer, but I do know everything is not racist, especially crimes, and if we want equality, let's start with our justice system and ignore protestors selling misinformation. But that won’t happen because the media is all in on saving this criminal, just like illegals. Talarico is a lost progressive and can’t decide if he is a Texan, pastor, or vegan, but he did try meat for political reasons. The man is another plant by the progressives without a chance of winning. At least I hope so. All IMO.
“James Talarico has waded into the racially charged case of the murder of teenage football standout Austin Metcalf, with the Texas Democratic Senate nominee throwing his support behind Metcalf’s convicted killer, Karmelo Anthony, now 19.
Anthony’s attorneys are back in a Texas courtroom on Thursday, seeking a new trial, and on Wednesday succeeded—in a significant win—in having the judge from the original trial removed.
Talarico, in an interview on a black radio show earlier this month, said the conviction of Anthony, a black teenager who fatally stabbed Metcalf, who was white, at a high school track meet in Frisco, is proof that the criminal justice system “is not working for black Texans.”
“Right now we’ve got a system that doesn’t serve all Americans equally, and, and we know that black Texans have been, um, have not gotten the justice they deserve,” said Talarico, a member of the Texas House of Representatives.”
