Russia is in a big pickle because a 2-week war is now going on for years with no sign of an end, and the young men in both countries are dying in unbelievable numbers. Putin can’t give up, or he is done as a leader, so here we are.
Ukraine has reinvented war with drones, and the future will be fought with them, controlled by people out of range of bullets and bombs. This will save lives, maybe because the destruction of civilian populations becomes easier. There is only one answer: peace, and I don't get why countries want wars. Can’t we all just get along? All IMO.

“Moscow and Washington have not yet agreed on a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump, and it is unclear when the conversation will take place, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
The day before, on Putin’s birthday, Trump stated that his phone call with the Russian president had been arranged.
“Not yet. We’ll let you know,” Peskov replied when asked whether the call had already been coordinated with the Russian side and whether there was an understanding of when it might take place.
Earlier, the Kremlin noted that the call could be arranged quickly if such an initiative were put forward. Since the beginning of this year, the Russian and US presidents have held five phone calls in total. The most recent call took place on September 8.”
