This is crazy if true, and Trump needs to quit the I believe Xi line because that doesn’t work anymore. No more than he has Putin as his friend. Mutual respect maybe, friends no way.
At first I believed Trump had a bit of control over the leaders of China and Russia, but not anymore. The intelligence of the IRGC comes from them and gives them capabilities they would otherwise not have. Some of our military deaths could be because of assistance from these countries. Enemies are just that, and we can never forget it.
It is time to have Russia and China pay a price for assisting those trying to kill Americans. Tariffs seem to work, but there are issues with that; at least it sends a message. I’m not sure what is going on behind the scenes, but if we have an aircraft shot down by a Chinese-provided weapon, it changes the game. We are at a critical juncture of our history, and I have no doubt we will win, but this is crazy letting this go on as long as we have.
This war is like a game of football where you don’t want an inferior team to hang around and maybe pull something out of their arses and win. All IMO.
“The dayslong pause in the Iran war was shattered Tuesday night and into Wednesday as the U.S. and Saudi Arabia launched joint airstrikes on Iranian-linked militias in Iraq, drawing yet more countries into Tehran’s crosshairs and casting further doubt on the prospects of an easy peace.
Those strikes, announced Tuesday evening, killed at least 20 fighters and wounded 32 others, according to the Popular Mobilization Forces, an Iraqi state-sponsored umbrella organization of paramilitary groups.
Notably, some reports from the region say the strikes killed numerous Iranian military advisers, mostly from Iran’sIslamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran’s Consulate General in Karbala, Iraq, denied reports that IRGC officials had been killed in the strikes.
President Trump said he planned to strike again at Iran after its forces sent a volley of missiles toward U.S. troops stationed in Jordan on Tuesday.
“We’re going to be hitting them very hard because it’s our turn to hit them,” Mr. Trump said Wednesday in the Oval Office. “We’ll see if we get there with an agreement at some point, but we’re going to hit them very hard.”
Mr. Trump said U.S. troops intercepted all five missiles that Iran shot toward the Jordan base, though the Jordanian military said it shot them down itself.”
