So the word on the street was that Massie was pretty firm in winning reelection, but that did not happen. Trump’s pick won once again, showing his hold on the GOP, which is a good thing. Too bad we don’t have a GOP member of Congress who can operate like Pelosi. She always kept the House in line for votes and picks for elections.
But Trump is doing the job, cleaning up the RINOs, beating their chests just before they lose in the primaries. The only problem we have now is how to handle those who lost their votes until they are out of office. If they go against anything Trump, they join the Democrats, and it is good that they were voted out.
The GOP has to totally stick together until we take back our country from the extremist progressives working hard to turn our country into socialism. An ideology that has failed the people every time, while the leaders get rich and take total control. All IMO.
“Ed Gallrein defeated Rep. Thomas Massie on Tuesday in the most expensive House primary on record, handing President Trump another high-profile victory and cementing the president’s standing as the center of gravity in the Republican Party.
Mr. Trump had personally recruited Mr. Gallrein, a Kentucky farmer and former Navy SEAL officer, to challenge Mr. Massie after growing increasingly frustrated with the congressman’s willingness to break with the president.
The race was called less than two hours after polls closed in the 4th Congressional District.
Mr. Gallrein jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished it. With 95% of the vote counted, Mr. Gallrein had a 55% to 45% lead.”
