This is getting ridiculous and counter to our National Defense. How in the world is McConnell still in office? The guy has been repeatedly hospitalized, froze during a speech and much more. What about Dianne Feinstein? She had dementia, and her staff performed operations and told her how to vote. Then the big kicker, Joe Biden, the most inept President in our history, who can’t find his way off a stage.
We can’t run our country like this, and a business would not put up with the non-performance we see in government. We need to clean up Congress, with the supposed leaders cheating on their spouses, taking advantage of interns, abusing power and many other acts not appropriate for leaders of our country. Age limits would be a start, and they also need to add health checks by a Congressional doctor rather than a personal physician. All IMO.
“Senator Mitch McConnell’s staff insists that he is recovering and working from his hospital bed, after hospitalization nearly a month ago for an undisclosed medical emergency, a probability that many are questioning even as his wife, the former transportation secretary Elaine Chao, traveled to the People’s Republic of China.
To this day, his staff has not disclosed what, exactly, beset the senator that forced him into the hospital. On Friday, his office again said that he is continuing to work.
“Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital,” Mr. McConnell’s office said. “The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.”
