This is a tough one because Mamdani is the mayor, but he is also an Islamist on the extremist side- not like suicide bombers or anything like that, but he is a strong follower.
How can a man who supports Hamas, Hezbollah and most likely the Houthis stand at a podium and speak peace and respect for those killed by similar extremists? One thing to remember when it comes to Islamic extremists is that it is world takeover, according to scripture interpretation by the extremist religious leader.
I’m sure Mamdani will attend as he should as Mayor, but it will be a sensitive moment, and his words will matter. Let’s see what he says. All IMO.
