A couple of four-hour waits at airports should wake up these privileged politicians and give them a taste of reality. These people are only in Congress; they are representatives, and most are normal people just like you and me. They are special but not super special, and they come and go. Although it takes a long, long time to go for some of them.
It is time to give our Congress a taste of what the people have to deal with by making them stand in the same TSA lines as we commoners, where we could all speak our minds, in person. Specifically about the risk of standing in crowded places like airports when Iran has internal cells in our country, who could attack at any time. And yet they still play games. Unbelievable. All IMO.

“Delta Air Lines is suspending the special services it provides members of Congress amid the Department of Homeland Security shutdown, according to a new report. The air carrier says resources are stretched too thinly to offer lawmakers these privileges.
The department shut down more than a month ago, and with TSA agents and other government officials not receiving their paychecks, many are calling out of work to pursue other, temporary opportunities in order to make ends meet.
Now, members of Congress will personally feel the pain afflicting ordinary Americans because of the shutdown.
Members of Congress have long enjoyed special treatment thanks to TSA agents, other airport officials, and the airlines themselves. At multiple airports across the country, TSA agents offer select security screenings so lawmakers can make their way to their gates more quickly, while airport security officials also offer escorts through the buildings.”
