Iran is primarily an Islamic nation of the Shia sect run by a Supreme Leader who no longer exists. The goal is total religious domination of the world based on the interpretation of scripture from the Koran, which most of Islam disputes. The only reason the other Arab countries stayed quiet is that Iran has been building their military since the 70’s and was far more powerful than their neighbors.
Given the high volatility of these oil-producing countries, they stayed quiet until now. This is the first time that the peaceful countries of the Middle East can see the light at the end of the tunnel. While this is painful, this is a war that had to happen. Iran can never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. They would use it, without a doubt, and the Middle East would be hostage to Iran.
Progressives and their followers talk smack as if we should not be involved, but would be the first ones crying about inaction if Iran attacked us. And that is something they would do without a doubt. The liberals need to get their heads out of the sand or be left in the dust by a terrorist nation, or hopefully at the voting booth. All IMO.
