This should be a no-brainer, but it is not, so we have to fight and fight hard no matter the polls. The polls now favor Abdul Ed-Syad, but that doesn’t feel right to me, and on voting day, people will not support this guy. Of course he will get all the Muslims to vote, and they will show up in numbers. That you can believe.
A quick search from Pew shows that about 160,000 to 180,000 Muslims are eligible to vote. Michigan’s population is 10 million, so if we get the vote out, this should be a no-brainer. However, many people always sit out the midterms, and many aren’t even aware of what is going on. We need to wake these folks up and take them to the polls to make this an easy win. All IMO.

The newspaper’s editorial board described Rogers as well prepared for the Senate after serving 14 years in the House, including a stint as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
Rogers, 63, left Congress in 2015 after representing a mid-Michigan district for seven terms. He later worked in the private sector, focusing on cybersecurity. He previously served as an Army officer and an FBI agent investigating organized crime.
The editorial argued that Rogers’s background and temperament could help him quickly become an influential member of the Senate.
The newspaper was critical of his Democrat opponent, Abdul El-Sayed, saying he lacks the government and policymaking experience needed for the job.”
