Welcome back! This is Charley from Common Sense News, where we focus on providing information that our mainstream media often overlooks, contributing to the current chaos in our country. The lies, misinformation and censorship are way beyond normal expectations and with no end in sight. These networks need to be accountable and quit using free speech as a cover for intentional misinformation. Our Mainstream can easily be compared to a government-run communication network, similar to China or Russia, where the media does the bidding of a corrupt government. But, in this case, it is the progressives trying to rule, unimpeded, and we know how that didn’t work under Joe. Before we proceed with how the Mainstream Media lies, followed up with a correction no one sees, let me provide a key goal for progressives, which is to change our political system to a full-blown Democracy, and get rid of the electoral process. This is a power play in which the progressives would take power, and no conservative would win again. For example, look at the Biden Administration when they had the trifecta: the Presidency, House, and Senate. And what did they do? They caused 9% inflation by handing out money as if it grew on trees, and that is only the beginning. For two years, the Democrats did what they wanted with no checks and balances, and they almost destroyed our country and would have if they held the trifecta for four years. Thankfully, people woke up, except the progressives, that is. Unchecked power allowed the progressives to open our borders, and all of them were complicit by their silence because they were in total agreement on building a new voter base from the illegals, after they assimilate and become voters. Although we don’t even know how many illegals are already voting. Thankfully, Trump arrived, and the mess is being cleaned up, and the progressives are in a tailspin. Unchecked power led to open borders, with illegals receiving benefits that Americans can only dream about. And who paid for all of this? The American Taxpayers. Illegals received money for housing, food and stipends. The damage is done, but the point is, as our founders knew, one-party rule would destroy our country as we know it, and that is ok with the progressives, but it sure as hell is not with me. OK, let's get into the meat of this video: how Mainstream Media seems to be getting away with lies and disregarding basic journalism, you know, truth in reporting. For example, recently the media published a lie that the FBI debunked, and no one did even a single iota of research before going to press. Or maybe the journalists knew the facts but pushed propaganda to hurt Trump just as planned. I do not doubt that this news was intentionally released as a lie. Our media has no standards except to protect progressives. Now, to be truthful, the lies are corrected, but the damage was done as intended, with mia culpas provided that no one pays attention to. We no longer have real media but a bunch of talking puppets for the progressives. Now, ask yourself how the media can lie and get away with it. That is what I wanted to know when I started this research, and what I found was rather interesting, which I will share with you. Before I share the findings, let me go over the corruption in our media, which is still trying to take down Trump. The recent release of the Epstein files had a report that Trump was closely associated with Epstein, and the media ran with it. Unfortunately, what they went with was debunked and fake news. But that didn’t stop our media from going full out to spin the story as true, with follow-up corrections, of course. But the damage is done. The media uses deceit in discussions and publications by assuming news they like is true and doesn’t require verification. Does that sound like real journalism? Not to me. But that is our current media. This issue is not limited to one or two media outlets; it is the majority who spin the news in a coordinated fashion, so people think it is true. We have a conglomerate of progressives fighting for progressives, no matter the cost to Americans. I’m not ok with that. The following are some examples for reference.
So, how is this type of reporting allowed? You would think there would be laws for these organizations using hard-to-get, licensed airwaves. I always attack our media for reporting or lack of reporting, but there are reasons they can get away with what some of us view as crimes against the truth.
Number one, we have the First Amendment, and that is something very dear to our country and is core to our ideals. But, everything has limits, as does our freedom of speech, you know, you can’t yell fire in a movie theatre.
Now the next item is new to me, and I think I’ve posted more than once for the FCC to get involved, but it is not part of their function. The FCC regulates airwaves, not bias or lies by the media. But you would think a push to remove offenders from the airwaves would get some attention, which would conflict with our freedom of speech rights.
Next is the authority to provide your opinion, such as I do every day on my Social Media sites. The problem I have with this is that the media abuses the common sense of reporting, and people don’t know at times if what they are hearing is opinion or fact. But, not one outlet said it was their opinion up front, I guess you have to assume. For me, I always end my posts with “All In My Opinion” to be clear.
Defamation is one means for justice, but the burden of proof is a high bar, especially with our activist Judges, specifically in New York State.
Corrections for mistakes are a scam because they hide it somewhere in their publications, but I rarely hear any host stand up and say they were wrong.
So the bottom line is it is a tough game to play when it comes to free speech, and we need to always lean towards the First Amendment. If you look at England, you can see they lost their free speech, and people are being arrested for words we would be free to use. That is scary and would not survive in the U.S.A., but not for a lack of trying by the progressives.

I’ve learned that it is tough to be a freedom of speech country because the riff raff takes advantage wherever they can, to move our country left, way left. We need to hold to our Constitution and principles because there is no integrity on the left, none at all.
