Iran is doubling down on doubling down, and it is time for Trump to make some difficult decisions. Iran cannot have nuclear capabilities because if they ever succeed, Israel would be the first to attack, followed by the U.S.
While Trump is doing what needs to be done, he has stepped back, assuming Iran would cave, but they did not. It is time to finish the job and have Israel begin killing the IRGC leaders until they say Uncle.
Of course, a key item to be concerned about is the upcoming midterms, but National Defense comes first, and Trump knows that. I trust his decisions, although sometimes I do wonder about the next steps. All IMO.
“President Trump said Iran’s response to the U.S. proposal for an end to the war and a comprehensive agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program is “totally unacceptable.”
“I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘Representatives.’ I don’t like it — TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Tehran’s response focuses solely on ceasing all hostilities in the region as well as Iranian recognition of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian state media.
The counter proposal reportedly also included releasing frozen Iranian assets and lifting of sanctions.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, meanwhile, demanded that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium “has to be taken out” while warning that the conflict with the regime “is not over.”
