Why doesn’t the media treat Islam like other religions? It often feels like progressives keep discussions about Islam in a protective bubble, leading to censorship. Imagine if the protesters at universities were Christians or Jews—the reporting would likely be reversed, with the mainstream media criticizing the protesters and their funding groups. However, when it comes to Islam, there’s little coverage of its history, current state, or funding groups tied to terrorist organizations. The media also remains silent on the daily atrocities in Iran and other extremist nations, focusing more on Islamophobia than on the innocent people imprisoned or killed by Islamic followers. It’s perplexing, and I believe it’s driven by being woke, ignorance, power, and the pursuit of votes.
This approach is the same that the progressives use for Transgenders by hiding facts from the public. That is not too concerning until you think about a couple of school shootings by Transgenders. Genders are not discussed in the news, and every report treats the killers as deranged male students with issues. Well, they are correct, but the issue is with their gender, which is fixable with counseling. So why would the progressives and media ignore this? Because they want all of us to believe transgenders are normal. Wrong! We don’t mutilate our kids.
This is disgusting, and our media is to blame. People need to do a double-take on anything the progressive press publishes because it is all about power over everything else. Lies, censorship and manipulation of news by the progressives are by default, so you should not expect the truth from them; that is one of the downfalls of living in a free country. How can news outlets call others Islamophobic when the same outlets attack other religions? Is Islam the religion of choice for progressives? It makes you wonder.
However, be prepared to face criticism if you disagree with progressives on any issue. They will start by attacking conservatives as Islamophobic, their weapon of choice, and move on to protests and violence under the name of Democracy. With them, it's black and white, clear-cut you follow or get out of the party. That is scary. Does Pelosi, the witch, ring a bell? She is a lady with numerous accomplishments but is ending her career as part of the progressive’s takeover of our country and will not go down in history as a positive figure.
Islam is a highly complex religion with an extensive history, like all other major religions. However, the religion was largely unknown to the Western world until the Middle East became flooded with oil, making many countries extremely wealthy, with the world wanting to make deals. As a kid, I don’t remember any conversations about Muslims or Islam, and there were no Mosques around the area where I grew up in Ohio. However, I do remember the lines at gas stations going around the block in the 1970s and gas being available based on your license plate number - odd numbers fill on odd days and even numbers on even days. I also remember four gas stations, one on each corner downtown. The price of a gallon of gas was .25 cents, and sometimes, there would be gas wars. This is where one or more gas stations reduced the cost of a gallon of gas by a single penny, prompting the other stations to follow suit. The game continued until they all lost money, so they would all go back up for another war at another time. It was fun to watch, and each day, the line would be long at the cheapest station. Gone are those days.
Over time, we have been conditioned by progressives to believe that if we say anything negative about Islam, we are Islamophobic, and no one wants to be called a racist of Islam, so no one talks about it. Our Mainstream Media is doing a disservice to the public by not informing them of facts or even basic information concerning Islam. How many times have you observed the media talking about Sunni versus Shia or Sharia Law? Exactly. The press rarely talks about Islam for some reason. That is why many Americans put all Muslims in the same bucket, and that is a disservice to Islam, all because of the political use of Islamophobia.
Why is it that when it comes to talking about any other religion but Islam, it is ok to criticize and give your opinion? But, if you speak about Islam, there are risks up to and including death by Islamic extremists. Do you remember the following event?

This is only one example of the consequences of talking about Islam, especially if it has to do with the Prophet Muhammad (equivalent to Jesus) or Allah (God) per their interpretation of the Quran (Bible). Those deciding to make fun of or criticize Islam could result in significant retribution of some sort, up to and including death. It's so sad but true. There is no freedom of speech for the extremists, and you must fall in line or face the possibility of death. Suicide bombers are a common tactic of extremist Islam, so I ask the media why they call people Islamophobic for wanting to discuss Islam, the good and the bad.
It’s outrageous that Mainstream Media doesn’t want to talk about Islam, which is a means of censorship, or maybe it is the fear of attack by extremists who are willing to die for Allah. So, I believe many Americans are clueless about Muslims and Islam in general, and I blame the media for that. But are our kids learning about religious wars throughout history in school? Are they learning any history at all? They are not, and most are clueless about Islam, which makes them very susceptible to being converted to Islam without knowing the background of the religion. Converting to Islam could be good or bad, depending on your opinion of Islam. It’s not for me, but I don’t hate the people who follow Islam, at least the peaceful version - Sunni. Note: I guess, according to Progressive, I’m Islamophobic.
Did you notice the number of non-Muslim women who marched with the Hamas protestors at our universities? There were many, but do these women know they would be treated as objects with no rights in an extremist Islamic country? Do they know that as non-Muslims, they could be sex slaves for the Shia in war? Yep, it’s true, and there are stories of the horror of women who were ignorant of Islam. Blame Mainstream Media for wokeness and not reporting the truth about Islam. The lives of these women have been destroyed for many years to come.
The question is, how many women protesting know this? Do we no longer care about women? Why is the left siding with the most anti-woman religion in the world while retiring NOW (National Organization of Women) as well as the MeToo program? This doesn’t make sense and leads me to believe the progressives are clueless about how women are treated under Sharia Law, or maybe they know and understand it is just that women don’t matter when it comes to progressive power.
Here is one example where if the woman was informed and had a bit of Islamophobia she would not have taken this step. The Mainstream Media is at fault by hiding the truth to many women, many who have died, and all of them raped.
But yet, the women act like sheep and still follow maybe because they don’t want to be Islamophobic which of course comes from the progressives. Is it Islamophobic to inform others potential harm. The following is from Wiki and explains the issue somewhat.

These women protesting are unaware of the potential consequences for them if they move to a Middle Eastern extremist nation or group, and that goes for the LGBTQ+++ community as well. These folks should know the facts, but they are not getting the truth from progressives because they don’t want to hurt anyone's feelings or be called Islamophobic.
I am outraged that free speech in our country is squashed when it comes to Islam. Why can’t you or I talk about a religion and express our opinions? This is not right, and more people need to speak up in the media to inform others about the issue. Sure, there are many books on Islam, but people don’t read or research; they watch or listen to the news. When anyone does speak up, the progressives immediately go on the attack and use the term Islamophobia to silence others. This is an easy way to get people to stop talking about the subject, which shows there is an attempt to censor speech when it comes to Islam. The term Islamophobia is a weapon for the progressives.
People are unaware of the differences between Sunni and Shia when the media talks about Muslims and Islam. The media focuses on the country of origin, providing little else for people to understand. Is it because our media doesn’t have the guts to talk about the good and bad aspects of Islam? They sure don’t mind criticizing Christianity or Judaism. Is it all about votes from one of the fastest-growing populations in the world? This tactic is not much different from their open borders policy, which aims to attract future voters to increase their congressional seats. Identifying others as Islamophobic is a weapon.
Progressives seem to have no problems attacking Christians and Jews, always with headlines and misinformation. Remember Hillary’s deplorable comment or Obama’s comment about conservatives carrying Bibles and Guns as if that was a bad thing? There are other stereotypes targeting conservatives, but it would be impossible to cover them all here. You get the point.
So, I’m pretty sure the word Islamophobia comes from the progressives to attack anyone who wants to discuss the truth that there is a bad part of Islamic history. Most Americans probably still think Islam is one group with no differentiation, but that is not correct. There are many sects under the Sunni and Shia sects, like our Christians with Catholics and Protestants, with many subsects as well. Progressives often only see what is in their glasshouse and rarely venture out to check if they are in alignment with the people they support while using Islamophobia as a weapon. That’s a losing model.
Why don’t progressives attack the evilness of Islam in Iran, yet they have no problem degrading Christianity? I find that odd because you would think an atheist or non-believer would feel the same about Islam, Christianity and Judaism, all with God as the savior. But not so in today’s America. Christianity and Judaism are attacked daily, but no one seems concerned about Islam. At the same time, we have Muslims marching in our streets, calling for the elimination of Israel and our country as well. The progressives accept the death chants, destruction and harassment of Jews, and I find that very concerning. But why? Is it simply because our Muslim population is growing, and the left sees votes? Progressives will do anything to win and maintain power, including siding with terrorists. We no longer have a Democratic party; we have a party of Islam supporters who don’t want to be called Islamophobic.
The story about Islam needs to be told so people understand the religion, the difference between Sunni and Shia, and so much more of the history. Now, let's talk about the general definition of Islamophobia, the weapon of choice for progressives to stop criticism of Islam.
Per Wiki:
“Islamophobia is the irrational fear of, hostility towards, or hatred against the religion of Islam or Muslims in general. Islamophobia is primarily a form of religious or cultural bigotry; and people who harbour such sentiments often stereotype Muslims as a geopolitical threat or a source of terrorism. Muslims, with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, are often inaccurately portrayed by Islamophobes as a single homogeneous racial group. The causes of increased Islamophobia across the world since the end of the Cold War are many.” Wikipedia
This definition bothers me because it seems like something a progressive would write. Let’s break this definition down and see if it makes sense.
Irrational fear of Muslims' comments.
Is it irrational to believe that Iran wants to destroy Western society? No, and it is well-documented. Why is it not reported?
Is it irrational to believe extremist Muslims want Sharia law? No, this is a big part of Shia religion and includes stoning women, cutting off hands and throwing gays off the top of roofs. Where is Mainstream Media? (see below for an explanation of Sharia law.)
Is it irrational to worry about our children being brainwashed by extremist Islamic professors? No, remember that professors walked with terrorists and praised the Oct 7th tragedy. We have professors of Islam brainwashing our kids with false history, and of course, the students fall for it. How else can you explain the American students protesting with terrorists? It’s either brainwashing or stupidity.
What about “hostility towards” Muslims?
Does that include Hamas, ISIS, al-Qaeda, Taliban and many more? The media covers events by these terrorists, but they never go into the goals of radical Islamists because the truth would change many opinions about Islam.
Does that include the pro-Hamas supporters marching on our campuses with death chants to Israel and America? Where is the media explaining what the chants mean and what the results of a Muslim invasion would be?
Why would we not want to be hostile to these terrorist groups, ready to die for the cause of eliminating Western society and Israel? But yet, the media doesn’t differentiate when they report. That is a failure of the public by the media.
What about stereotyping Muslims as a geopolitical threat?
Does that mean we should not discuss the geopolitical threat of Iran, Hamas, Houthis and other Muslim groups openly stating for the death to Westerners and the destruction of Israel?
Because of the definition of Islamophobia, we have folks, primarily in the media, who are hesitant to do accurate reporting that suggests a link between students and the Shia Muslim extremists marching at our Universities. Even the blind can see this. How can you march and chant “from the river to the sea” and not be an extremist? Everyone knows that means the destruction of Israel. Why has no one in the news, including conservative outlets, told the story about the two major worlds of Islam - Sunni and Shia, especially when discussing protests or wars? They are very different, just like Catholics and Protestants, but in general, people don’t know this, and if they watch mainstream media, they definitely are not aware. Is it because of Islamophobia?
Why is there even a term called Islamophobia but not Christianityphobia, Judaismphobia, or simply Religiousphobia. Why the bended knee approach to Islam? Why did the media and progressives make up a term for those of us who are concerned about the terrorists? It is all about being woke, but only for Islam and nothing for the other religions. Are progressives soliciting Muslims, knowing they are a major growing community in the world and the U.S.? It wouldn’t surprise me. I think I’ve mentioned this more than once because the repetition helps the information stick in your brain longer, and this topic is important for conservatives to know.
The media and progressives have done a disservice to Muslims by not going into details about the religion and who is doing the terrorism around the world. Where are the discussions on Sharia law that many Muslims still follow today? Why doesn't our Mainstream Media cover Islam and explain to the public the differences from other religions? Journalists, in general, put all Muslims in one bucket, and therefore, ignorance is the issue. On the other hand, journalists might not report on Islam for fear of attack by extremist Muslims and progressives. Dealing with Muslims is different, and you need to know the audience. In Iran and its partners, they are ruled by the religious leader, and people follow the religious law. In Saudi Arabia, and its partners, follow a Supreme Leader, but basic laws apply from the government. Iran follows Sharia law as well as many other Muslim groups but does the media ever cover the subject with details? No because to them that would be Islamophobia. You can’t make this stuff up.
Let discuss Sharia Law for a moment. I was under the assumption that Sharia Law was in use throughout the western countries, but to my surprise I could not get AI to come up with my assumption. But the AI was answering from a perspective of complete Sharia Law in a community or country. Complete Sharia Law is rare and that is why I did not get the answer I expected.
I’m saying this for transparency, but Sharia Law is being used in non-Muslim countries, but the law is not implemented in its entirety, but bits and pieces are used throughout the world.
So, when reading the rules of Sharia Law that I am providing below, know that most Muslims know these laws and many still follow some of the laws when they immigrate to western countries. There have been actual honor killings where a Muslim woman loves a non-Muslim man and in this instance the father did the killing based on Muslim laws he believed in. He killed his own daughter. Muslims have strict rules, and many follow the rules exactly as written. This is the reason I am providing this list. To inform you what Sharia Law is by fact, so when you discuss this subject with a deranged progressive and they call you Islamophobic you can give them the facts. I will do more research on Sharia Law and write an article specific to the subject in the near future.
Why not publish something like the following for discussion? You know, talking about the pros and cons. How about discussing this with Muslims as well because they have varied opinions as well, but for some reason, the media doesn’t want you to know the following:

• Muslim men have sexual rights to any woman/girl not wearing the Hijab (Taharrush).
• A woman can have 1 husband, who can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.
• A man can beat his wife for insubordination (see Quran 4:34 and Religion of Peace).
• A man can unilaterally divorce his wife; a wife needs her husband's consent to divorce.
• A divorced wife loses custody of all children over 6 years of age or when they exceed it.
• A woman's testimony in court, allowed in property cases, carries ½ the weight of a man's.
• A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits (see Mathematics in Quran).
• A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
• Meat to eat must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be "Halal."
• Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.
Which countries use the Sharia law?
Muslims' aspired Sharia state is the birthplace of Muhammad that has no legal code other than the Sharia law and enforces it without mercy: Saudi Arabia. But as detailed below, the Sharia law is also used in full or in part, nationally or regionally in:

Do any of our kids protesting for Hamas know all the rules of extremist Islam that enforce Sharia law? How many of you reading this piece are aware of Sharia? How many know the laws of Sharia? How many know that women are second-class and have no rights under Sharia? How many know that Sharia Law is being used in Western countries? How many know all the violations of this law that result in death? And so much more. This is why I did this piece to inform, because our media sure is not, and that includes both the left and right sides of the spectrum. Why? Because it would be Islamophobic.
Sharia law should scare the hell out of everyone, especially the so-called Party of Women, you know, where a man can be a woman. Under Sharia, women have no rights, yet the progressives are marching in the streets in support of exactly that. Are progressives that far out of touch? Yep. Sharia laws are being used throughout the world because of the global elitists opening borders around the world. Unfortunately, Joe Biden was part of this group of elitists, but he failed, thankfully, because of Trump. Europe is still paying the price. Our country has been flooded with illegals, and we don’t know how many extremists are within our borders. How crazy is that? Countries around the world are now in disarray because extremist Islamic culture does not fit in with Western countries, but that doesn’t stop the elitists from trying. Is it Islamophobic to disagree with Sharia law? Note: Remember, I am referencing extremist Islamists. Sometimes it’s very easy to put a group in the same bucket, and that doesn’t work in this situation, you know, like all whites are racist.
Did you know that in France, they have Muslim areas where the French police are hesitant to enter? Why? There are many extremists that don’t follow any rules but their own religious laws. Physical confrontations with the police are common. A similar situation is occurring in the UK, Scotland, and many other countries and I would bet my bottom dollar that this is happening in the good old U.S.A. in areas filled mostly with Muslims. How do you think Ilhan Omar was elected? It wasn’t for her brains or political experience. All this is going on because of being woke and not wanting to upset anyone’s feelings or be called Islamophobic, a weaponized term. Those days are gone, and now we must work on cultural differences, which won’t be easy. Will we be called Islamophobic for working on integration?
There is so much more to cover, but it would end up being a book and not an article, so let’s wrap this up.
Islamophobia is a term often used to discourage any criticism of Islam, regardless of its impact on culture or society. Transparency and truth are essential, though they can be challenging to achieve. It's important to note that not all Sunnis are peaceful, and not all Shia are extremists, so avoid generalizing Muslims without understanding the context. Always research thoroughly before making accusations against Islam. I learned a lot during my research and hope you did too.
