I always hate to say "last chance" because that feels so final, and peace is always better. But there is also a lack of peace in the Middle East with all the countries on pins and needles, afraid of what Iran will do. That concern is real, but what other options are there to end this war?
If we allow Iran to stay in the clutches of the IRGC, there will never be peace, and funding will flow to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. This is a situation where we cannot back out, and we need to finish the job, which at this point is regime change.
The path to regime change is the people of Iran standing up to the killers and taking back the country. That time may be coming, although I thought it would happen by now. All IMO.

Iran’s acting defense minister, Brig. Gen. Majid Ebn Al-Reza, said on X that Tehran was “neither surprised nor passive” about Mr. Trump’s announcement and remained alert to concrete threats from the U.S.
Mr. Trump announced the pause hours after consulting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the regional crisis, according to reports from Axios and regional news outlets.
A person briefed on the call said Saudi officials worry that Iran could respond to further U.S. strikes with attacks on civilian infrastructure in the Persian Gulf. Crown Prince Mohammed urged Mr. Trump to prioritize diplomacy and seek clarity on next steps before resuming military action.”
