The Biden green agenda threw money at windmills, an unreliable energy source, as if they grew on trees. While windmills may have a purpose, they are not a reliable base because if the wind stops, energy stops. Remember all the movies of ships of old floating in the ocean for days on end because of no wind? I do, and that is what would occur if we totally depend on green sources at this time.
There will be a time for green or alternative fossil fuel energy, but forcing a square peg into a round hole will not work. What really bothers me about this piece is that the owners of these windmill projects are from France. Really? That doesn’t sound right to me. All IMO.
“Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said companies were sold a product that was only viable when propped up by massive taxpayer subsidies when they bid for these offshore wind leases in 2022, under former President Joe Biden.
“Now that hardworking Americans are no longer footing the bill for expensive, unreliable, intermittent energy projects, companies are once again investing in affordable, reliable, secure energy infrastructure,” Burgum said in a statement. “We welcome each of the projects’ willingness to actually support baseload power and lower utility bills for American families.”
