The answer is simple: yes, he did, and if this isn’t proof, I’m sure it will come out before the elections. Money is flowing in from overseas to get DSA and progressives elected, and, of course, there are ways to funnel these donations through back channels. In this case, it looks like El Sayed is in the spotlight, which is good; we cannot, and I repeat, we cannot, have a Congress member who supports our enemies. Particularly extremist Islamic members, because they are all over the Middle East, not only in Iran. But our allies sometimes keep them in control, and sometimes they don’t.
I am sure El Sayed will deny, deny, deny, as he is with his family relationships with the terrorist group The Muslim Brotherhood. But the real headline is Obama supports this guy, and that is all you need to know about an ex-President willing to sell out our country. All IMO.
“The video featured a Democratic operative identified as Abdoul Beckwith stating that El-Sayed gets funding from overseas donors and candidly admitting that “it’s not allowed.”
O’Keefe cited a section of federal law that explicitly prohibits a “foreign national” from donating “money or other thing of value” to any candidate in a federal, state, or local election in the U.S.
But according to an O’Keefe Media Group account, Beckwith said there are ways around that:
In a part of the conversation that apparently took place off camera, according to a post OMG published, Beckwith described “a hypothetical arrangement in which overseas money passes through a family member.”
“Beckwith said, ‘And then people overseas give money to him. And then he gives money to you. It’s that type of thing,’” the OMG report said. “He added, ‘Everybody does it!’”
The video’s publication had a virtually instantaneous response, with the El-Sayed campaign issuing a statement to OMG denying any connection to Beckwith. It also called Beckwith’s comments “untrue, wildly misinformed and not reflective of the campaign.”
