This issue shows why the Democrats can’t ever regain control. At least until the real Democrats step up and squash the progressives. The extreme progressives making all the noise would replace SCOTUS with all progressive Judges that would not give a darn about our Constitution.
Progressives lose in court over and over again and blame the Judges for doing what they were selected for. They want to add two states to increase their power (Puerto Rico & Washington DC), otherwise they couldn’t care less about these states. Abortion on demand, no questions asked, no medical reviews that may set back the program. How about open borders and fully funding illegals with taxpayer money? And so much more.
The left is in disarray, and it will only get worse before the midterms, where they are going all out, with nothing out of bounds. This is a sad story in our history, and people will wonder in the future what happened to the true Democrats. All IMO.

They did not land on a specific path forward, agreeing to consult with attorneys before making any moves. But one idea circulating on the call got people talking: using the Democratic-controlled Virginia General Assembly to lower the mandatory retirement age for state Supreme Court justices, forcing out the current bench and replacing it with judges more favorable to Democratic redistricting goals.”
