Sorry, but this is so stupid it is laughable, and some Republicans voted with the Democrats. How in the world can a bill for a women’s history museum fail because some politicians want to redefine a woman because the current definition doesn’t meet the moment for progressives?
No way, no how can a man be a woman and never should women’s history or sports achievements have men as the recipients. What is so difficult to understand about this? It has nothing to do with the boys or men who want to be women, and they can do as they like. I have no problem with that, but in real life, outside of fantasy, a man cannot be a woman. Currently, the trans individuals are hurting women, and the progressives are ok with this. What happened to Me Too and NOW? The Democrats have left the real women behind, all for an ideology. All IMO.

According to ABC News, House Democrats rejected the bill on Thursday after Republicans amended its language to ensure that the new Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum recognized only biological women — in other words, women.
Had it passed, the bill would have located the new museum on the National Mall.
Instead, the amended language led to a partisan battle in which Democrats, joined by some Republicans, defeated the bill, 216-204.
“The Museum shall be dedicated to preserving, researching, and presenting the history, achievements, and lived experiences of biological women in the United States,” the amended version read in part.
Also in the amended version, the Republicans added that the “Museum may not identify, present, describe, or otherwise depict any biological male as a female.”
Democrats objected.”
