We are finally at a point where Cuba may fall from communism and join the Democracies around the world. The people have paid the price for many years because of the Castros, but that is coming to an end.
The Cubans in the U.S. are on pins and needles for the regime to fall so they can visit family or actually go back, as many want. Cuba will flourish if allowed and will become a major tourist attraction. All IMO.

Why were all of these countries supporting Cuba anyway? It wasn’t really about trade, because Cuba is a very small market and communism destroyed the middle class that purchases consumer goods. Furthermore, Cuba’s economic disaster means that European bank loans and others can’t be repaid. So Cuba needs sugar daddies, and Venezuela and Mexico are out. So why were they so pro-Cuban? It was all about standing up to the U.S., especially Mexico.
So who is going to bail out Cuba today? China or Russia? So far, no oil tankers or cash from them. The island does offer their Navy a strategic location, but do they want to upset Trump? I don’t think so.
So Cuba’s so-called allies are not into bailing out the island’s failed regime. They want their loans repaid, or Cuba to become a better place to invest. How many more hotels can you build in Cuba’s resorts?
So the end is coming and I can’t help but think about my late parents. We used to talk about this day so often and this day is coming soon. My guess is that a big Cuban party is about to explode in heaven. It will be so loud that we’ll see the moon bouncing.”
