Just so you understand, the riots in France have little to do with education failures; it is the antifa, extremist Islamists, communists and a lot of other riffraff. Part of the reason for these riots is exactly what I said, and the government is running out of people to tax. Sound familiar? Exactly what the Democrats want to do.
France is the failed model that Ro Khanna, Bernie Sanders and AOC want for this country. What is unbelievable to me is the number of people that believe the scam, helping some of these extremists to win. Bernie promised free everything the other day: education, medical care, transportation, child care, and the crowd went wild as if this fantasy were true. But not one asked where the money would come from. There aren’t enough billionaires in America to pay for downgrading our healthcare and education systems as the government consumes them.
I apologize to the young conservatives with common-sense brains, because they get grouped with stupid people, as Trump says, and I do mean stupid, as harsh as that sounds. A couple of out-of-touch generations live in fantasy land. Worse, they believe the lies even when the facts are in front of them, and they will not lift a finger to look.
The other day, I heard someone in the media say, “But my professor said ...”. OMGosh, do these kids think professors are the only source? Do they believe professors aren’t biased at times, or maybe even wrong? Using a single professor as a source is unbelievable to me. We have Islamic extremists in teaching roles who provide their view of the world, and kids take it in hook, line and sinker. How else do you explain LGBTQ marching with Muslims? Do they not know the history of gays in Islamic countries?
I’ve experienced the same thing in conversations and get blamed for hate speech because I group progressives when I make claims. That’s an example of words mattering more than facts; they don’t want to hear the facts and are blinded by words. The funny thing is the hate and discrimination come from the left as they try DEI and other programs that are ILLEGAL per the Supreme Court. Reverse discrimination isn’t a solution, only discrimination. The socialist pied piper has many out-of-touch young people following closely behind. Free always sells, but is never successful long term. I could go on, but we are at a critical junction and will soon know where we are headed; elections next week. All IMO.
“This is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few,” says the prospective 2028 presidential candidate and socialist, Congressman Ro Khanna, about the mass rioting and social unrest unfolding in France.
As with most issues, Mr. Khanna has it backward. It’s Democratic economic and social ideas that have destabilized France.
France, after all, is home to socialized medicine, high minimum wages, powerful unions, some of the most generous worker protections in the world, big government spending, and a vast welfare state.
France’s standard measure of income inequality, the Gini index, is just under 32, around the European Union average. To be sure, income inequality, the hobbyhorse of the American left, is completely irrelevant in and of itself.
France, say, ranks in the mid-50s worldwide in income inequality, between the stable and wealthy Western democracy of Japan and the destitute Asian tyranny of Myanmar.
Rioters did not set fire to the majestic 19th-century Limoges town hall because they’re angry about France’s ranking in global income parity. The riots were triggered in large part by the French government’s alleged “austerity” plans.
France spends an inordinate percentage of its budget on welfare and social protection programs — a larger percentage than virtually any nation on Earth. Since 1995, social and welfare spending has risen from 53 percent to nearly 59 percent of the country’s budget. It will never be enough for rioters.”
