Welcome to my video on Brutus, a Biewer Terrier who is about seven years old. He is a joy—at least for me. I decided to spread some of the joy this boy brings me by providing short clips of him doing various things, but primarily looking for skinks wherever they may be.
So, what is a skink? For those who don’t know, the following image explains all you need to know. One important point to note, as stated in the image, is that skinks lose their tails when they are being caught and grow a new one over time.
Brutus has lost many skinks because their tails break off. One point to make is that, most of the time, Brutus can’t catch these things because he is trying to pick them up carefully so as not to hurt them. That is why most get away. However, when he does catch one, he puts it down and leaves when it doesn’t move anymore. Sometimes I push on the skink, and it runs away, and other times it doesn’t. My heart goes out to the skinks that don’t make it.
I will not be doing a lot of talking after this intro video because it is Brutus that is the focus, and since he can’t talk, it will mostly be visual.
My goal is to provide a little downtime from politics and all the hate we are experiencing. So, I hope you enjoy, and in the future I will provide more of his escapades. Thanks for watching. Charley
