I would never imagine I would be writing this post where our Democrats are against eliminating the greatest threat to Western civilization, Iran. How many Americans have been killed by Iran? Too many. How many Americans could be killed in the future if we did not act against Iran? Too many. What about oil prices? They would be doubled if Iran controlled the Strait of Hormuz.
The elimination of this terrorist nation will bring the Middle East closer to Western societies where humanity matters, and death by religion decree doesn’t exist. War is always horrible, but this one was needed because if Iran had gotten a nuclear bomb, all those Democrats voting against Trump could very well be threatened by a nuclear bomb. These religious fanatics would use nuclear weapons against Israel or the U.S., but TDS has the left hoping that Trump loses. The left of today is deranged, and the media is protecting them. Wake up, folks. All IMO.
“The purported aim of this and other War Powers resolutions is to stop the hostilities. Thankfully, the United States and Iran are currently in a ceasefire, and we are negotiating over critical questions of national security and international order,” Mr. Golden said in a statement after the vote.
“I believe we must maintain a strong negotiation position over Iran’s nuclear program, freedom of movement in the international waters at the Strait of Hormuz, and how to achieve a durable peace between our two nations,” Mr. Golden added. “At this moment, a resolution like this would weaken our hand.”
The resolution failed by a single vote, with Mr. Golden being the lone Democrat to side with the vast majority of his Republican colleagues. One Republican, Congressman Thomas Massie, voted for the measure, while another conservative, Congressman Warren Davidson, voted present.
Mr. Golden has long displayed an independent streak, especially in the last year.”
